Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - The Sixth Annual Riverfest is being held on Saturday, March 4 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 pm, at El Rio BBQ to benefit the special needs children of Puerto Vallarta. If enjoying an afternoon of great food and excellent live music in a gorgeous venue on the banks of the Cuale River sounds good to you, then this event is a dream come true! And it is for a good cause!

Riverfest 2017 will run from 12 noon to 7 pm and promises to be a fantastic afternoon of entertainment featuring 7 live bands, fabulous food provided by El Rio BBQ and Barcelona Tapas, a silent auction, 50/50 draws, artisan exhibits, and loads of fun to benefit Pasitos de Luz.

A star-studded line-up of musicians, including Kim Kuzma, Piel Canela, Stolie, Joker Trio Band, OliBlues, Texas Embassy Blues Band and La Trez Cuartoz, will entertain you throughout the afternoon as you enjoy the natural beauty of El Rio BBQ's excellent riverside location - for a donation of $100 pesos per person, plus refreshment costs.

To add to the event, Alex Daoud owner of Alexander A is sharpening his scissors and will be giving professional haircuts and/or eyebrow threading at Riverfest and donating 100% of the proceeds generated from his stylish services. Get a cut for the cause at a great price at Riverfest!

All proceeds go to Pasitos de Luz - a wonderful organization with very minimal resources that provides loving care and therapy to children with acute physical and psychological illnesses. Your support enables them to offer love, support and rehabilitation to the special children of Puerto Vallarta and its surrounding areas.

As a sponsor you will be providing much need support for Pasitos de Luz and will receive 8 VIP patron tickets with all patron benefits for a fabulous day to distribute as you wish!

NEW THIS YEAR: 3 DAYS! - We will be extending Riverfest with a pre-show and post show! Friday, March 3rd will see El Rio BBQ Bar already set up and ready to rock! Starting at 2:00 pm Hard Money will play, followed by Bob & Gilberto at 4:00 pm. Enjoy live music by two bands for a donation of only 50 pesos!

Sunday March 5th - Mexican buffet, hamburgers + more. Plus music at 2:00 pm by Mariachi Real de América, followed by Los Bambinos at 4:00 pm. Join us!

El Rio BBQ Bar is located along the Rio Cuale in Paso Ancho, less than ten minutes from the Libramiento. (Click HERE to see map.)
