Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - El Rio BBQ and Pasitos de Luz have announced that the 7th Annual Riverfest to benefit the special needs children of Puerto Vallarta will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 12:00 to 7:00 pm. Come enjoy live music from some of Banderas Bay's best musicians, not to mention the best BBQ, Paella and Pasta in Vallarta - all for a good cause!

Riverfest 2018 promises to be a fantastic afternoon of entertainment featuring 7 live bands, fabulous food provided by El Rio BBQ, Barcelona Tapas and Pasta Fresca, a silent auction, 50/50 draws, artisan exhibits, and loads of fun to benefit Pasitos de Luz, a local non-profit organization founded by mothers of disabled children.

A star-studded line-up of musicians, including Paul Fracassi, Stolie, The Jamaican Brothers, Cat Daddy, Soul Trip, Sylvie and the Zippers and La Trez Cuartoz, will entertain you throughout the afternoon as you enjoy the natural beauty of El Rio BBQ's excellent riverside location - for a donation of $100 pesos per person, plus refreshment costs.

To add to the event, Alex Daoud owner of Alexander A is sharpening his scissors and will be giving professional haircuts and/or eyebrow threading at Riverfest and donating 100% of the proceeds generated from his stylish services. Get a cut for the cause at a great price at Riverfest 2018!

All event proceeds go to Pasitos de Luz - a wonderful organization with very minimal resources that provides loving care and therapy to children with acute physical and psychological illnesses. Your support enables them to offer love, support and rehabilitation to the special children of Puerto Vallarta and its surrounding areas.

BUT WAIT... THERE'S MORE! - By popular demand, Riverfest 7 will be extended to 3 days again this year! Friday, March 2nd will see El Rio BBQ Bar already set up and ready to rock! Starting at 2:00 pm Los Imposibles (TNT) will play, followed by Bob & Gilberto from 4:00-6:00 pm. Come enjoy live music by two bands for a donation of only 50 pesos! There will also be 50/50 raffle to add to the fun!

Sunday, March 4th - The fun starts at 12:00 noon with a buffet of burgers and more, plus a 50/50 raffle. Live entertainment starts 1:00 pm with Media Luna, followed by Mariachi Real America at 2:00 pm and a 3:30 performance by Los Bambinos will bring this weekend of food, fun and friendship to a close. Gate entry 50 peso donation.

El Rio BBQ Bar is located along the Rio Cuale in Paso Ancho, less than ten minutes from the Libramiento. (Click HERE to see map.)
