• From now until the "What a Drag!" charity event on March 10th, you can see a great show (Nunsense, A-Men!) and help the Banderas Bay Womens Shelter (BBWS) at the same time! They'll be 'passing a hat' for the cause during Nunsense performances and Act II will match all donations collected. The funds will be presented to the BBWS at the "What a Drag" event in March. On Saturday, February 16, at 2:00 pm, Act II is having an open casting call for anyone over the age of 16 for Avenue Q, our Gay Pride Show, as well as our next season of musical theater and stage productions, starting in the Fall.

Debby has been involved in the music industry since she was a little girl. Her father, Jimmy Holiday, co-wrote many hit songs, including the worldwide smash hit, Put A Little Love In Your Heart.

Debby's unique sound is a mixture of soul and rock. She started to write songs at the age of 13 and broke into the dance scene and the Billboard Top 10 in 2004 with her songs, Dive and Half a Mile Away.

She has shared the stage with legendary recording artists like John Waite and Rod Stewart, appearing on several television programs including The View, The Rosie O'Donnell Show and The David Letterman Show. During her career, Debby has toured and opened for rock superstars including Joe Walsh, Rod Stewart and Kiss.

Gabe Arciniega, former dancer/singer with "Cuchi-Cuchi Charo," presents The Gabest Show on Earth, 2.0! Although not a stranger to the stage, Gabe is a relative newcomer to Puerto Vallarta. He moved here from California and was immediately cast as the lead character of Richard Hannay in Act II's production of 39 Steps, as well as George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life! Most of his songs were written to words written by his brother, Ira Gershwin. Some of his most well-known works are Rhapsody in Blue, An American in Paris and Porgy and Bess, which is considered to be one of the most important American operas of the 20th century.

I Got Rhythm features beautiful harmonies, duets, solos, and mini vignettes of song and dance. Each song sparkles with pure Americana from the 20's and 30's. This year, we are thrilled to announce that Diana, along with director Alfonso López, has created yet ANOTHER sensational hit show, "I Will Always Love You," a musical tribute to Whitney Houston! Diana, with her powerhouse voice and infectious personality, is the perfect singer to take on the iconic Whitney (her lifelong inspiration). The highlight of Diana's show last year was when she previewed some of her Whitney Houston songs, often having most audience members in tears. Diana blew the audience away, and her fans begged for a whole show of Whitney's songs!

"Diana Villamonte is a powerhouse singer and great entertainer! Last night we went to the ACT 2 theater, which is now opening its 5th season in PV. Having come to PV for 33 years, we didn't realize it now had theater productions. The theater is on the 2nd and third floors of a building in the center of the "Romantic Zone", and has a red velvet draped lounge and bar which is like a cool 1920's Speakeasy where they have great listening music and a live entertainer before you enter one of two theater areas for the main productions. Both theaters have comfortable velvet padded chairs in either a theater style venue or a smaller semi circular stage with balcony and bar counters, surrounding a curtain backed stage with two screens on either side. We saw Diana Villamonte in that smaller setting and she was spectacular! There is a lot of amazing talent in Puerto Vallarta and we are delighted that this wonderful entrepreneur built a theater here... and that the amazingly talented Diana Villamonte lives here. We felt very privileged to have heard her at this early stage in her career, as she is only 24.
