Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - Yes... Puerto Vallarta's winter season is winding down, but Act II still sizzles with top-notch shows! Although our Main Stage winter musical productions end in April, many musical cabaret and drag shows continue through May. And... after a 2-year hiatus, the #1 blockbuster musical, Avenue Q, returns to Act II for a three-week run, starting on May 6!

Act II Mourns the Loss of a Dear Friend

It is with much sadness that we mourn the loss of our friend, Francine Peters, this week. Franny has been a permanent fixture at Act II, through both her presence at so many of our shows and through the many paintings that she has displayed on our walls. Act II has been "her" gallery for the entire time she lived in Puerto Vallarta. Her life was difficult. But she was loved by many, and she touched the lives of more people in Puerto Vallarta than she ever knew. She will be missed terribly, but will remain in our hearts forever.

JoAnna (aka Joe Perry) is celebrating her 13th season as a headline performer here in Vallarta! She started out in NYC, and has won numerous awards, including "The Best Patsy Cline Singer" at the Cowgirl Hall of Fame. She is well-known for her amazing impressions, and can do an amazing impersonation of Cher, Tina Turner, Patsy Cline, Madonna, Marilyn Monroe, Celine Dion, Elvis Presley, Dolly Parton… and more! In addition to PV, JoAnna has enjoyed 6 smash seasons in Provincetown, Massachusetts, and has had 8 fabulous summer seasons in Ogunquit, Maine.
