Charity Bingo for Pasitos de Luz - Week 5

December 08, 2010

Charity Bingo for Pasitos de Luz is held every other Tuesday at 6 pm at Nacho Daddy, 180 Basilio Badillo on the south side of Puerto Vallarta. Come out and help us reach our goal of $200,000 pesos.
Tuesday, November 30th was another wonderful night for Charity Bingo for Pasitos de Luz at Nacho Daddy! The staff at Nacho Daddy had everything all set to go nice and early, which was a good thing as there were lots of early birds arriving to get the seats of their choice, and enjoy a leisurely dinner and cocktails before bingo began.

There were many repeat bingo players in the crowd and we saw lots of new faces coming out to join in the fun. We even had a delightful family come in to catch a quick bite and play some bingo before rushing off to catch their plane home.

The evening started off with one of our donors, Micky Prost from Encore Boutique winning a game, followed closing by Tom Atkachunas of Cristalex and Kathleen Palmer from Déjà Nu Consignment Clothing. Husband of volunteer Robin took home the night's raffle prize, a gorgeous painting by Vickie Meza and PVRPV employee and volunteer, Armando Sánchez, won the 50/50 draw, BONUS! Our donors and volunteers weren't the only lucky winners, there was a crew from Bucerías that was walking away with lots of prizes too!

We were pleased to be joined by a couple of other generous donors who came to see it all in action, the lovely Rhonda & Felix Zarate of Pure Life Spa. Each of the donors in the crowd were requested to give a little speech about their businesses in order to provide additional information to our bingo players on their donations. Don't forget that if you see a sponsor at bingo they are more than willing to answer any questions that you might have about the prizes you've won.

In the end, we raised another $11,525.00 pesos towards our goal for this worthy charity and had a ball doing it! With a total of $67,454.60! We even received some items from the Pasitos de Luz Wish List. Don't forget to take a look at the wish list and bring along an item or two and receive a free bingo card.
