'Mariachis, Margaritas, and More' Returns March 28

March 25, 2019

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico - On Thursday, March 28, the third edition of 'Mariachis, Margaritas, and More' will once again bring the amazing colors, the exhilarating sounds, and authentic flavors of Mexico to the Puerto Vallarta Municipal Presidency courtyard.

The Amapas Neighborhood Association, represented by Sylvia Toy, the Viejo Vallarta Association, represented by Benny Ibarra, and the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Department, are organizing a Mexican Fiesta in one of the most beautiful and historical places in the city - the inner courtyard of the Presidencia.

In this most authentic of settings you will experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of authentic Old Vallarta. After all, what better place to enjoy an international gourmet 'tasting buffet' offered by 35 of the best local chefs and restaurants complemented by local musicians, a Folkloric ballet performance, and the robust sounds of Mariachi Music?

The list of this year's restaurants is outstanding: El Torito, Hacienda Carlotta, Boccon di Vino, Adobes, El Brujo, Di Vino Dante, Pal Mar, No Way José, Katana, Teatro Limon, Tinos, River Café, Capitan Cajun, El Mole de Jovita, Siam, Incanto, Mariscos El Güero, Oscar's, El Sofa Cafe, Canto Del Mar, Agrodolce, Route 66, Ortensia Funiculli, Rio Grande, Roberto's, Daiquiri Dicks, La Fonda, Bravos, Almacen, Los Muertos Brewing, Steve's Bar, Nacho Daddy, and Fredy's Tucan.

Doors and bar service open at 6:00 pm, buffet service starts at 7:00 pm, with entertainment to follow. Margaritas, tequila and vodka drinks, wine, beer and bottled water will be available from a no-host bar.

Tickets to this truly Mexican celebration cost just $900 Pesos, with all proceeds going towards funding neighborhood projects in Colonia Amapas and the Zona Romantica. Seating in the historic fountain courtyard is limited to only 150 guests, so get yours today!

Reserved seating tickets are available at the Amapas Neighborhood Association office, located in Villas Loma Linda at 115 Hortensias, and the Viejo Vallarta office located in Mundo de Cristal at Insurgentes 333, Colonia Emiliano Zapata.

Last year's proceeds went towards funding the amazing sidewalk that runs along Highway 200. It is a testament to the strength of each neighborhood and their desire to keep neighbors (locals, visitors, and businesses) safe as they walk up and down the highway. Come enjoy an evening of gastronomical extravagance, while doing your part to keeping our city clean and safe.
