OPC Leads Trash Disposal Pilot Program in El Centro

On October 20, the Oficina de Proyectos Culturales, along with El Centro neighborhood associations and municipal authorities launched a pilot program for trash disposal in the downtown area of Puerto Vallarta. Their intention is to find a solution to the problem that affects us all.

4th Taste of Nuevo Vallarta and 16th Chili Cook-Off

On December 3, from 4-7 pm, the Marina Nuevo Vallarta Malecon will be the location of the '4th Taste of Nuevo and 16th Annual Chili Cook-off,' hosted by the Vallarta Yacht Club. Net proceeds will be evenly split between the IFC's Cleft Palate and the Navy League's Toys for Tots programs.

Thanks to the efforts of DIF Puerto Vallarta President, Candelaria Tovar de Dávalos, 65 adults and 13 children now have wheelchairs. The new wheelchairs, provided by the National System for Integral Family Development, were presented at a ceremony attended by 104 disabled Jaliscans.
