Puerto Vallarta kicked off the Semana Santa vacation period last Friday with Mayor Arturo Dávalos Peña inaugurating the new Malecón in Boca de Tomatlán. $8,873,664.64 pesos were invested in the project, which includes a boat ramp, parking, walkways, a plaza and restrooms.

At a press conference at Fusion Gourmet on April 10, the Amapas and Viejo Vallarta Neighborhood Associations announced that 'Mariachis, Margaritas & More,' held at the Lion's Club Feb. 23, raised $88,000 pesos - enough to buy a new pressure-washer for each neighborhood.
