Malecón Sculpture Walking Tours Resume

Beginning November 13th, the extremely popular free Vallarta Malecón Sculpture Walking Tour, created and conducted by Galería Pacifico owner Gary Thompson, will again be offered every Tuesday at 9:30 am. Tours start in front of the Millennium sculpture at the north end of the Malecón.

Vallarta Mourns the Passing of Wayne McLeod

After fighting a battle with lung cancer for over six months, Vallarta Today newspaper editor, Wayne McLeod, passed away late Sunday morning at Medasist Hospital. A memorial mass will be held on October 29th at 7 pm, at the Virgin of Guadalupe Cathedral in downtown Vallarta.

Daylight Savings Time Ends in Mexico This Weekend

In Mexico, the shift from daylight savings time to standard time takes place this Sunday, Oct. 28th, at 2 am. This means that for the next week Vallarta will be an hour behind the US, as they don't set their clocks back until next weekend - something visitors may find useful to know.

Mexico to Implement New Immigration Laws
